Another Update
Well power is back on around most of our area. Our internet is still an in and out thing right now but hopefully that will be back to normal soon. Our yard is starting to look a lot better now that we hired someone to come clear the trees. Someone is coming Monday to give us a price to rebuild our shed. Hopefully I will be able to get back to blogging and visiting and commenting on everyones blog.

Pictures from Hurricane Ida
Here are a few pictures of damage and our messed up yard from Ida. All I can say is Thank God it wasn’t worse than this. So many people over here are worse off and left with nothing. I pray for these people. But we are Louisiana strong and will get through this This is not our first rodeo and it won’t be our last

UPDATE Hurricane Ida
Well we made it though the Hurricane but not without a lot of damage. Our house survive except for a small corner where a neighbors tree fell on our power lines and pull it from he house .I will try and post pictures when our internet keeps going in and out right now. Not sure when power will be restored around here but at least we have a generator. It will take weeks or months to clean this mess up.

16th Anniversary of Katrina
Yes it was 16 years ago Hurricane Katrina hit us. Hopefully this one is not like that. Being sick at this time is a bummer. We evacuated for Katrina,but we will ride this one out. We have a whole house generator and my son and daughter-in-law in law will probably come here tonight. For Katrina we couldn’t come back in live in our house for a month because we had no power. The thing I worry most is that we have a lot of trees Pray we come out ok with this hurricane. Trying to stay positive
