Made this birthday card for my youngest son's birthday this Sunday. He will be 30.
I googled this image and put in my silhouette software to cut it out. I cut it twice. I
adhered the first one down and cut out the second one in pieces. I layered the wood,
fire and mug.

DeleteI'm curious to know how you did the inside for this front image and sentiment?!?!!! This image is so versatile! Could be used for BBQ invite, scrapbook layout to record a lobster/crab dinner, etc. Thanks for participating in HIMCR's #353 masculine theme challenge! Becca~DT
ReplyDeleteBecca, all I did for the inside was put a sentiment I found on Pinterest. The sentiment read Keep Calm and Don’t eat the Straight Ones. That means when we boil crawfish and you find one that has a straight tail, you don’t that one because it was already dead before it was boiled. So we don’t eat those.
DeleteOMGOSH! That is so cute and FUN!!! Love the image you found on google! It's great to find things that can be cut out with our silhouettes!!! Awesome Masculine card! I know your son will get a kick out of it!

DeleteGreat work at finding the design and making it work so well with your silhouette. It's cleverly done, with the layers, and I love that wonderful red check that you've used so nicely with your design. Happy Birthday to your son. TFS

DeleteHi Marilyn, I'm sure I've commented on this cool card earlier, but since I don't see it published, I'll try again. You may be having the same problem I am, not knowing that comments have been left. I love the theme of this cute card, and the red gingham dp is perfect to highlite the fun inner images. You've done a super job combining your silhouette skills with your cardmaking skills, and this one is just delightful. TFS
